If You’ve Had a Rough Year… This One’s For You

by: Melanie Bates Site: MelanieBates.com This one goes out to a dear friend who battled breast cancer this year. Battled? Hmpffff… She smote it down and pissed on its ruins. And to another who’s dear to me who’s heading in for his final treatment for melanoma that showed up first on his face, and then in his brain. This also goes out to those I love who’ve lost those they love—fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters, a child. And this goes out to all who’ve been diagnosed with dis-ease, who’ve ended relationships, who’ve lost jobs, and who’ve battled… Something. Anything. It all started at the end of 2014 when me and my lovely friend, Lisa M. Hayes, were discussing what a crap year we’d both had. We commiserated Read more [...]

Reflections of 2015

By: Sherry Trentini Admittedly at this time of year my attention is more on what I can let go of rather than what want to accumulate. With my birthday and Christmas within 7 days, its a lot of receiving from others in a short span versus the calendar year. I value letting thoughts and things go in my own life, and I value helping others do the same. It is my thing, my wheelhouse, my alignment to creating space in life.  When I reflect on this past year of being a coach, doing my thing, helping others I noticed there are definitely some items I’m keen to keep, some to make peace with and release. Keep Doing what I’m doing: This calendar year has been plump with starts and pauses (not stops). As I reflect on the overall year Read more [...]

Mama Meltdown: Intentionally get your train BACK on track

Have you seen this Pinterest compilation or heard of this website where parents post pictures of why their kids are crying? It is effing hilarious. You know…except for when you are knee deep in it yourself, right? I could see the writing on the wall when my husband commented on our terrific two-year old daughter’s whining nearly the moment they walked in the door tonight. Hmmm, I wonder what happened on the car ride home, I think to myself. She was testing us in all the usual ways- wanting her binkie (our rule: “binkie is for bed time”), taunting her older brother with pet names we all know he doesn’t like, and of course the classic: I want what bubba has (she suddenly didn’t like her purple lip balm- she wanted her brother’s Read more [...]

Handling Rejection the LOA Savvy Way: What to do when you are Someone’s Hell No

By: Jamie Goins When faced with indecision, one of my favorite deliberate creators once shared with me that if something isn’t a strongly resonating “hell yes” for her, then the answer is “hell no!” This was a great way to overcome indecision because in terms of deliberate creation, you want everything you do to feel good. If it doesn’t feel good, it is not bringing you closer to your desires. I loved it. This was perfect! But what happens when it isn’t you deciding? What happens when you become someone else’s “hell no?” When someone says no to you or something you have requested or desired has been denied, turned down or rejected, the average person doesn’t feel great in that moment. No, most of us would feel Read more [...]

What I Learnt About Myself from Experiencing Contrast in Friendships

By: Nikky Dhillon I am a peoples person, I value the people I have in my life. I nurture connections and I can appreciate the various characteristics that exist in other people that show up in their beliefs, their thoughts and their behaviors.  But I feel since I started my journey with the Law of attraction and made my connection with source the most important thing for me , I have lost a few precious friends along the way. Recently I lost some friends and was very upset, trying to reflect what went wrong. What I discovered was that every time I had a huge jump in my vibration which coincided with me learning a new process, be it meditation or PRJing or Chakra healing, I have lost some friends in the process.  Some have called me arrogant, Read more [...]

When You Want To Be Happy

By: Nikky Dhillon Over the last few years I have honed in my skills of awareness of how I am feeling moment to moment. And one of the things I noticed is that every time I feel low because a friend didn't keep in touch or a loved one didn't respond the way I would have liked or I am just in a funk and feeling low for no reason at all , it is always and always because my soul / higher self is seeking a better connection with source. I know this because if I spend time to strengthen that connection to source by meditating or sitting quietly or offering gratitude then I immediately feel much better and am able to get to the happy place with ease.  Nothing in my reality changes for me to feel differently , I deliberately nurture Read more [...]

Manifesting Malaga

By: Nikky Dhillon A few months ago in June my husband and I were contemplating about a holiday in Europe. He was going to travel to London in September for a course he was nominated for by his company and we did the “ wouldn't it be nice if we all could go together and holiday in spain before his course at London Business School” As part of our “What if” process we spoke about if we were going to spain which city would we travel to ? ( if you are not familiar with this tool its listed as one of the processes in Abrahams book - Ask and its given) And so going along with the flow I got google maps out and randomly picked out Malaga in Andalusia, mind you I had never travelled to Europe before and had never heard of this city called Read more [...]

Love vs. Fear: The Experiments

By: Melanie Bates melaniebates.com I know. I know. You’ve heard the concept of love versus fear about a trillion times, so I’ll just let Oprah boil it down briefly: “Every single event in life happens in an opportunity to choose love over fear.” This idea has knocked around in my head for years, but it wasn’t until recently that I pulled it from the recesses of my mind to conduct a little experiment: Every time I go to make a decision, I have to ask myself if I’m making the decision out of love or fear. Experiment #1: A few weeks ago, I wanted to go to a new farm-to-table, upscale Southern restaurant with people I love more than anyone on the planet. They said they wanted to go too. Later that day they opted for Olive Garden. Read more [...]

Game-Changing LOA Victory

By Lisa Cavallaro Especially when we don’t realize it, it’s amazing what a lack of doubt can do for our manifesting power. The following story is taken from my book No More Drama—how to make peace with your defiant kid. I tell this story in the book because it goes down in history as the one experience that convinced me beyond a shadow of a doubt that I had more abilities that I needed to begin using and that the law of attraction was about to become one of my best friends. In March of 2009, my husband and I were part of a group of over four hundred people invited by one of his vendors to attend the Big East basketball tournament in New York City. Our team won its first two games and was set to play the championship game Saturday Read more [...]

Law of Attraction Role in Life

Today I will tell you an amazing story of how law of attraction plays out in our lives and that there is no outside force to us that controls what happens to us. As you know the universe/ god / source only responds to what we activate in our vibration via our thoughts and feelings ( LOA 101).  So in 2010 my husband and I along with our son moved to Sydney, Australia from India . That's another story for another day. Anyway we moved on a work visa that my husbands employer had sponsored. We, however, wanted to become permanent residents here as soon as we were eligible as that would mean that if hubby dear was to lose his job we won't have to go back to India . Now we were eligible to apply for this PR as soon as we completed two years Read more [...]
